Well, another secular report on Rick Warren and the Purpose Driven phenomenon has issued forth from the Orange County Register. Somehow, this just bites the cake for me:
He [Warren] said Nichols' conversion stemmed more from necessity – "You gotta convert to Islam if you're in a prison" – than belief.
Does this give anyone the idea here that somehow Rick Warren is saying that converting to Islam if you go to a prison is something that a person who has been changed by Christ is supposed to do? Oh wait, he didn't accept Christ; he just became 'purpose-driven' ... Hmmm....
